Terms and Conditions for Salt Air Sweets
These terms apply to all locally picked- up or delivered baked goods, including cupcakes, cheesecakes, mini loaf cakes, and other hand made treats. Please read carefully before placing an order By Purchasing, you agree to the terms listed below.
1. All sales are final. Because of the nature of our treats being perishable, no refunds will be given. No refunds or returns will be issued once your order has been processed and confirmed by Salt Air Sweets. By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these terms.
2. Reporting issues- If something is wrong with your order, you must notify us within 12 hours of the pick-up or delivery timestamp. This ensures fairness on both ends. We require proper documentation (photo and video) to assess any concerns. Issues reported outside of the 12 hour window will not be honored.
3. Refunds and Resolutions. We always aim to make things right with the customer. if a mistake is made on our end, your order will be remade and delivered or will be available for pick-up, but no refunds will be issued. In rare cases where a refund is offered due to a unique situation, it will also make the final transaction between the customer and Salt Air Sweets. Future orders will not be accepted.
4. Local Pickup policy. All orders must be picked up at Kennedy Park in Somers Point, NJ; the Somers Point Police station in Somers Point, NJ; or the Bargaintown Police station in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The location and pickup times are listed when the customer checks out, the customer must pick up at the location and during the time selected. No late pickups will be tolerated. Our time is valuable as well as yours is. A grace period of 15 minutes will be given. After that, the order will be cancelled and the order will be refunded 50% of the total. The remaining 50% is non refundable. Please do not schedule a time that you cannot commit to.
5. Custom orders. All custom orders and orders above 3 dozen must be placed at least 3 weeks in advance. No rush fees will be available or accepted. All custom orders must be signed off by the customer and a 50% non refundable retainer is required at the time of ordering. The remaining 50% is due one week before delivery or pick-up. Delivery fees will apply. Our desserts are ideal for dessert tables and party spreads, we do not offer custom layered cakes.
6. Communication. If you need assistance, please contact me at info@saltairsweets.me or 609-300-3576. Do not use Instagram or Facebook for ordering or order issues.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes. Filing chargebacks without contacting Salt Air Sweets first violates these terms. We document all communication including: product descriptions, customer communication, time-stamped pick up and delivery records, agreement to these terms. Chargebacks filed without valid cause will be challenged, and the customer will no longer be able to order from Salt Air Sweets.
8. Food Safety. Please refer to the care card provided with your desserts. This has instructions on how to properly handle your desserts so that no illness occurs. Choosing not to follow the instructions on the care card violates these terms.
